I’m so in love with mixing and matching my outfits, whether it’s colorblocking, mixing prints and patterns, or just putting things together to mix up the look. Personally, I’m a big fan of putting together cute and girly pieces with items that give off a little bit of more edge. For example, in my pictures I’m wearing this patterned, blue romper that I’m so in love with. This romper just does everything right for the body. It synches in right under the breast which gives the illusion of a tighter fit. Also, the sleeves are slightly puffed so it adds some body to the romper. The best thing about this romper is that it has pockets. Yes, POCKETS. Even though I rarely use the pockets that are built into my rompers or dresses, there’s just something about the comfort of having somewhere you can put your hands (lol). Instead of pairing my romper with a blazer or cardigan, I opted for my beloved leather jacket that adds instant chicness to the whole outfit. Along with my leather jacket, I decided to wear my black suede booties. I could have easily worn nude strapped heels or a pair of tan wedges to compliment the romper but instead, I went with my booties that would complement my leather jacket. It’s all about mixing pieces together to create a different vibe. So next time you pick out an outfit, go and mix things up!
