What if I told you that there was an easy way to earn cash back on 90% of all your online orders, would you believe me? Well it’s definitely true!

For me, being a college student and having a major love for buying clothes and handbags, can leave me broke by the end of the month. If I could earn a little bit of cash back by simply ordering online instead of going to the store, you better believe I’m there! Keep reading to learn my step-by-step directions on how to earn yourself some cash back! 

           

The way you can earn money back on your online orders is through a website called Ebates. Your first step to earning cash back is to create an Ebates account. When you first sign up, Ebates will give you a free $10 gift card to selected stores like Target, Macy’s, Wal-Mart, etc after you make your first purchase through their website.

People may question if Ebates is even real because it’s questionable how they are able to give cashback to all users. Let me assure you, Ebates is 100% legitimate! Ebates gives an easy explanation on their website. They state that, “just like almost every other online shopping center, we get a commission from the stores when you make a purchase. Instead of keeping that money - like almost all other sites do - we share it with you”.

            

As pictured, I been a user of Ebates since 2013 (a little less than a year) and already earned a total of $77.18. With ebates, you receive your “Big Fat Check” every three months, which gives you enough time to rack up your cash! Each store that Ebates supports has a specific cash back percentage. These percentages change all the time and can range from 2.5% to even higher than 10%. You should check Ebates daily because every week there are “Deals of the Week” and “Double Cash Back” where certain store’s cash back percentages are doubled! Also, another thing that is awesome about this website is that they conveniently show you all of the coupon codes that are trending for each website that they carry!

When you’re ready to order online, just type in the search box and see if Ebates offers the store that you are going to shop at. Now say that they do and you’re going to order something from Nordstrom When you click on Nordstrom, the website will tell you how much cash back they’re offering (which is 6.0%) and on the lower screen under “Nordstrom Offers”, it’ll show all of working coupons that are trending for Nordstrom at the moment.

            

The next step after finding the store that you’re going to place an order to, is clicking the orange “Shop Now” button. By clicking this button, it shows Ebates that you used their site to get to the website that you’re ordering from. When you click the button, the picture above should pop-up and then instantly directs you to the Nordstrom’s website. After that, just proceed to your regular shopping.

Overall, I absolutely love Ebates. It’s just an awesome all-in-one website for anyone! It easily provides coupons to different stores and gives you cash back for shopping online. The way I see it, if you were going to buy a certain item anyways, why not order online and earn cash back for it? Even if you’re just earning a few cents or dollars, it all adds up in the end!
